October 2003, Nemansk Region:

An explosion of unknown origin occurs and changes the area forever. The Government authorizes to start a secret operation to investigate the incident.

But soon after the military Units reach the area, the contact is lost. The whole operation is about to be a failure.

You are Prochor Visinov, a hired soldier and the last hope for the missing troops.

Your task is to help the military, save the mission and do dangerous trips into the Nemansk Area.

Dark Skies: The Nemansk Incident – Is an exploration based shooter and the second Project of Indie Game Developer “DK Productions”.

It was planned in 2016 right after the release of “Hunted: One Step Too Far”.

While the game was praised for its great and creepy atmosphere, it was also criticized for it’s technical flaws and lack of in-depth gameplay.

I aimed to improve on every aspect and learned new ways to achieve great environmental coherence and atmosphere.

Along the ride I gained more and more experience on how to make your game unique and fun to play.

Still, this game is ment to be hard and challenging. Surviving in this surreal world should not be an easy task.

I tried my very best creating this game and I hope you enjoy it!

Switch between alternate dimensions at will:
As you are torn between the fractures of reality, you can switch between The Top and The Alt. The Top has your “normal” reality with flying, deadly robots, and people in suits trying to kill you, but also has the rewards and objectives. The Alt is a darker, deadlier version of the top with corrupted zombies and the Neon Stringler trying to kill you, but you can regain health and reposition from The Top there. Use them both to achieve your goals.

Wallrun, double jump and slide around in procedural levels:
Every game mode requires the need to use your advanced movement and your dimension switching abilities. Raid the ever-changing city and cause chaos. But if you’re not fast enough, you’ll find chaos upon you too!

Use either a gun or a melee weapon:
Each are fit for a different playstyle, with their own Temporary Boosts you can find across the map. Bonk/shoot your enemies to death!

Buy permanent boosts with the coins you find:
In every combat game mode you can find coins as a reward, either for your speed or ability to survive long enough. Use them to buy permanent boosts and improve your chances of survival.
