Scene Investigators is a deductive reasoning game that leans heavily on keen observation, filling in the missing gaps, looking for motives when they aren’t seemingly there, and coming up with several plausible assumptions to progress through the investigation.

The game is tailored to fans of detective films, the true crime genre, escape room puzzles and especially for those who love the challenge of solving cases.

Game Features

• “True Crime” Detective Experience: You are to observe each scene carefully and analyze everything on site. There is no handholding or hints. Take notes on anything that stands out and write down your suspicions as you navigate through the crime scene.
• Uncompromising Murder Mystery Puzzles: Piece everything together, not only to understand what happened but also the connection between the perpetrators and their victims. Your only tools are your keen perception, mental sharpness, and real-life wisdom.
• Calculated Assumptions – 70/30 Principle: You may find that some evidence is missing, limiting you from making the best conclusion. There might be 70% of the evidence in the case, but the other 30% is nowhere to be found. This is where you have to fill in the missing gaps, trust your gut-feelings and make smart, calculated assumptions.
• Telling Stories Through the Environment: Notice the pink lipstick on the wine glass? What about the trajectory of the bullet on the wall? How about the faint size-12 boot marks on the windowsill? These are part of the environmental clues that can help piece the story together.
• Solve Them With a Friend: It’s more fun to solve when you have someone to discuss your findings with – a friend, a significant other, or even the whole family! Scene Investigators is perfect for this and it is our hope that you can enjoy this game with others. They might spot something you missed in your investigation, and vice versa.

Each investigation brings a new experience, each ghost has different behaviors to help you determine the ghost. There are different types of difficulties and maps to explore, from Fisherman’s House to Chernobly and even Backrooms.

Your computer is equipped with the latest tools for paranormal observation, it has a room specific electromagnetic field (EMF) meter, a temperature meter, a sound meter, a laser grid and a UV light to see what you wouldn’t see with normal light.

You can use the Exorcism module to remove the ghost from the building once you are sure which ghost you are dealing with. This will give you extra experience to unlock new difficulties.

With each completed investigation, you can earn money and experience that will help you unlock new upgrades, see new maps and complete even more complicated missions.

• Hack the Professor – Solve a quantifiably feverish series of challenges to prove to the Academy’s super A.I. that you’ve got the skills to become an Escapist.
• Go for the Gold – Represent your class in everyone’s favorite sporting event, The Rival Room. Go toe-to-toe against your nemesis in a puzzle-race to prove who’s top of the class.
• Do Not Drown! – Being at the bottom of a puzzle-tower that’s rapidly filling with water is NOT ideal. Scramble to the top for that sweet, sweet oxygen.
• Spray Paint the Monument – Art class is no Easy-A at the Academy. Leave your mark on the historic Monument of Escape but uh… hurry up! The Headmaster didn’t exactly approve the lesson plan.

This game was inspired by “Exit 8”, we are trying to make it more interesting and elaborate.

• Run “KexSetup_x64Rel.exe” from “_Windows 7 Fix” folder and install that extension
• Open “AnomalyLoopBinariesWin64Exit8-Win64-Shipping.exe” file properties in Explorer, then “VxKex” tab
• Check “Enable VxKex for this program” and “Report a different version of Windows, Windows 10” checkboxes, Apply, OK
• Run the game as usual
