Game Description

Overview:
The continent of Runersia is home to six major powers with more than 40 bases, 100 knights, and 50 types of monsters. Select a ruler, organize knights and monsters into troops, and conquer enemy bases! How you wish to do battle is entire up to you, so devise the best strategies and lead your nation toward continental conquest! How will your legend unfold?

Simple yet deep war simulation game:
Time passes on Runersia in seasons. Each season consists of an Organization Phase and Attack Phase. During the Organization Phase, knights and monsters of various classes and skills are organized into troops in preparation for upcoming battles. During the Attack Phase, turn-based troop battles take place on a map made up of hexagonal spaces. Make use of unit skills, elements, enclosure effects, terrain advantages, and other battle tactics to lead your side to victory! All nations, knights, and monsters in the game will continue to battle and grow as you do. The game is also packed with other ways to grow your armies such as classes, equipment, and various items.

World View:
Runersia – a continent blessed with mana showers from times of old. Five Mana Stones discovered long ago have been embedded into special armor called Brigandines, each one representing the ideology of the nation possessing it. These have come to be known as the Brigandine of Justice, Sanctity, Freedom, Glory, and Ego. The time now is Runersia 781, and a war looms on the horizon for five nations and a small tribe with incompatible ideologies. Six rulers and their rune knights will throw themselves into the conflict, each with their own hopes and expectations. Once the land has been unified under a single banner, memories from The Legend of Runersia will be reclaimed and the truth of what happened here on Runersia shall be revealed.

Immersive gameplay with high replayability:
Enemy nations aim to conquer the continent as well and will attack your bases to do so. The battle for the continent will differ with each playthrough.Accumulate stories and events from the six nations in the Records. After clearing the main mode, The Legend of Runersia, the Alternate Chapter challenge mode will be unlocked, allowing for even more replayability.

This is a story about one of the adventures Sophie the Alchemist had after she left her hometown of Kirchen Bell. It is centered around Sophie’s quest of searching for Plachta after they are separated in a dream world of Erde Wiege, and the new friends they meet there.

  • Evolved Seamless Turn-Based Battles: This game incorporates new multi-link turn battles that feature six party members divided in two teams and begin seamlessly when players encounter enemies while exploring. The combat experience is enriched by a multitude of special effects and actions, including special Dual Trigger skills that involve two of the team members attacking in unison.
  • Two Types of the Panel-Based Synthesis: This game features an accessible puzzle-like synthesis system where you place ingredients on a panel to create new items. Players can choose to use either the Standard Panel or the Restricted Panel, which will increase both the difficulty level and the rewards.
  • Manipulate the Weather to Open New Paths: While each region of Erde Wiege has fixed weather, you will be able to change this with the help of special tools. Changing the weather will allow you to not only change the scenery when visiting the same area but also gain access to new, previously inaccessible places. Perhaps the weather will affect even the materials you can collect?

“Four new Heroes of Light emerge”

Characters:

  • Seth: A young sailor who drifts to the continent of Excillant and is the main character of this story. Meet Gloria, an exiled princess whose kingdom was robbed of its Crystals, and set out on a journey to recover them with her.
  • Gloria: The princess of Musa, a kingdom that once watched over the harmony of the world – but the loss of the kingdom’s Crystals led Musa to destruction. Having fallen into despair and gone into hiding, she decides to embark on a journey to retrieve the Crystals.
  • Adelle: A mercenary for hire. She travels with Elvis as his bodyguard in his search for an asterisk.
  • Elvis: A scholar who travels the world. Embark on a journey in search of a particular asterisk needed to unravel the last spellbook left by his master.

Game Features

  • System: In addition to a traditional, turn-based battle system that combines jobs and abilities, you can enjoy innovative and strategic battles unique to the Bravely series by taking control of your turns via the Brave and Default system.
  • Brave and Default: Brave Points (BP) dictate how many actions a character can use in a single turn. Players can have characters ‘Default’ to stock up to three additional BP to use in a turn, or characters can ‘Brave’, to use more than one BP to perform multiple actions. Balancing stockpiling and using BP is a key component in battle strategy.
  • Jobs and Abilities: Each character can exhibit both a primary and secondary job class, with each job specializing in different abilities. Combining jobs allow you to handle two abilities simultaneously. You can create an all-rounder balanced in offense and defense, or perhaps a character that specializes in magic. Your tactics and how you develop each character are up to you.
  • Acquire New Jobs: “Asterisk bearers” will often block your path forward. By defeating them, you will obtain an Asterisk that enables you to change jobs.

Story:

Your world is plunged into madness when the mysterious and deadly Mist surrounds Shin Mikado Academy. In order to save your friends, you enter the Otherworld, a Daemon-filled dimension beyond the real world. Within this enigmatic realm, you must learn to harness your Authority of Vanity and conjure a battalion of Fiends, whose power comes from the Ego of their master.

Develop your Ego through various psychological tests to enhance the power of your Fiends, and lead your forces into battle to fight with and against the seven “Pactbearers” that are corrupting the academy. Embrace the power of your madness to gain strength, but take care not to delve too far, lest you risk losing yourself.
